‘was excited to begin teaching. Jim was engaging and also displayed a humble confidence
‘When the school year began, Jim was a fast leamer. We team taught for a few weeks,
but Jim was quickly ready to take the reigns. He planned lessons and assignments. He fit
in with the rest of the Algebra 1 team at our PLC meetings. Whenever, Jim needed to be
corrected or redirected, he accepted the words graciously; he would only ask for
