4/2/19- Impact Team Meeting

7:30 - 8:30 am

● Timeline for ​Scorpion​ Main Idea practice.
● Timeline for ​Komodo Dragon/Wolf​ Main Idea assessment
● Agenda for our upcoming Impact Team Day (4/18/19)

Carla shared ​The Camel​ and ​The Humpback Whale​ practice Main
Idea passages.

Carla will scan ​The Camel​ and ​The Humpback Whale​ to put into
our Grade Level Folder on Google.
● Our last EAA day (May 7th); ​What did we learn from this?
What are we keeping and what are we kicking to the curb?
● Carla will ask if we could use Tommi Sue’s office for our day so
we can unpack the standard and use the big screen.

Agenda for 4/18/19

● Build clarity on​ Komodo Dragon/Wolf​ together to ensure
consistent grading on main idea assessment. This assessment
will happen AFTER our 4/18 day together.
● Have ​The Camel​ and ​The Humpback Whale​ practices
complete prior to the 18th. We will discuss successes and or
challenges with these two practices. ​* The Camel​ will be done
 as a whole group. Then, ​The Humpback Whale​ can be
completed independently after the teacher has read the
passage to the class. (small group guidance for those students
who need that.)
● Look ahead for the ​NEXT ​standard. Math? Proficiency in
math facts is necessary to be successful to meet our end of the
year standard of 3-digits.
