Volunteer Projects:

THRIVENT
We have multiple opportunities for those who want to volunteer or contribute to materials
needed for projects. All projects will take place at at least one of our three Bloomington
locations. Directions for each location is placed on the next page. All projects are great for
groups and make a huge impact on those here at Wheeler Mission Bloomington.

Opportunities

Staining Projects:
At our Center for Men, we are in need of our fence to be stained. This fence enables our
guests to feel at home and have a nice backyard to relax.

At our Training Center at Camp Hunt, we are in need of our cabins to be power washed
and stained. Camp Hunt is a beautiful place for the guys in our program to take the next
step of faith. These cabins are a place of hope and prayer that enable the guys to
further their walk with Christ.

Painting Projects:
Our walls at the Center for Women & Children need some attention and so brightening
up to make our house feel like a home. Just about three walls are in need of a fresh
coat of paint and with the right people and materials, this project would take no time!

Parking lines are needed at the Center for Men, this will consist of measuring out and
painting the lines. In able for us to get as many people into our Center for Men we need
some help with our parking lines.

Holiday Projects:
We have a vast array of opportunities around all of the holiday seasons! Whether it’s
helping set up Christmas trees or helping with Mothers and Fathers Day activities.
These projects support all of our locations and are great for groups.
