generating IR rays for IR sensors. When we place our finger in front of IR
receiver then falling IR rays interrupts and this change in signals is compared and sended to microcontroller by operational amplifier IC LM 324 which is used here as comparator.
This input from IR sensor is detected by
the microcontroller and transferred to the computers serial port. The code running under the microcontroller makes a delay of one second on each input from IR sensor to prevent false inputs. Data transmission to serial port is done by using MAX232 serial communication leveler IC this IC is required for communication to CMOS to TTL data transmission of circuit. The microcontroller sends the serially the number of interrupted IR sensor and this sensor number is detected by the VB software, the software is designed to simulate the button press action on serial port port input.
The 16*2 LCD module is used for calibrating and testing the circuit without computer. The button press information is shown on LCD.
