Climate change has been one of the greatest challenges faced.
One of the complimenting facts leading to such
activity is deforestation. Due to this, scientist is concerned about the ozone layer which is important to human life. Guyana and Norway came under a signed agreement to address this matter by avoiding deforestation in exchange for a sum of money which will be invested into the Low Carbon Development Strategy. The government including international LCDS participants aims to reduce green house gas emissions to half the amount by the year 2020. This act is to save Guyana forest and maintain its cover.
