To Whom it May Concern:

It is my great honor and pleasure to write a letter in support of Anna Latimer. I have had the honor
and privilege of having had Anna in several classes here at Wesleyan as well as watching her assume
leadership roles and achieve Wesleyan’s highest academic recognition while riding on our
Equestrian Team. I’ve seen evidence that Anna is a hard working, caring, and capable young woman.

Anna always brings a unique perspective to classroom discussions and leads with a quiet sense of
resolve and purpose. She sets the bar high for herself and never fails to meet established deadlines.
She makes herself available to classmates in a very supportive and nurturing way that builds trust
and long lasting relationships across differences and exceptionalities.

Anna has experienced several field placements and has worked diligently to work through
management issues, planning obstacles, overlapping requirements, and stringent deadlines. She
persevered and grew in a situation where many her age would have requested changes or walked
away. I know she’ll continue to work just as hard as she begins her career.

I have am honored to recommend Anna for a position in your school. I know she will work hard for
you and show you this same level of determination and will power.

I look forward to speaking with you at any time in regard to this truly remarkable young woman.

Respectfully,

Dr. Virginia B. Wilcox
