Dear Parent or Guardian,

Fri., Apr. 26 your child will be participating in a Vegetable Sharing Circle with
On ____________________,
Growing Chefs! Chefs for Children’s Urban Agriculture.

Students will share a vegetable that their family eats at home, and discuss a dish they eat it
in.

Please help your child choose a vegetable and discuss what they might say about it. If
necessary, you can help your child prepare some notes about their choice.

Also, please help your child write out your family’s favourite recipe using the vegetable. The
recipes will be shared with the other students in the class. If you’d like to also email us the
recipe, we might even post it to our website, www.growingchefs.ca.
