Prompt: Do you agree with the hypothesis that the Indus civilization ended due to Indo-Aryan

invaders? What evidence would you use to support your position? Reflect on what might have

brought that civilization to an end.

I do agree with the hypothesis that the Indus civilization ended due to Indo-Aryan

invaders. I believe this because of the mass burial and they way they were buried. They are

scattered, no positioned nicely, and there is multiple of them in one spot. Being scattered, the

invaders were looking to bury the evidence quick along with evidence of there being life there.

They would have been positioned nicely if it was a formal burial because there was gods buried

as well that would’ve been more taken care of. This hypothesis makes sense because of the

burial and all the evidence that was lost due to fire and the new axes that were found, or brought

by Indo-Aryans, to massacre the people.
