1. In your area, choose a project under construction or a recently constructed

project such as a building. Obtain the preliminary information requierd such
as a (geotechnical, geological, seismic and hydrological) report and review it.

2. According to the NSR-10 establish the number of borings required, depth and
separation. And in the same way verify with the methodology of the American
Society of Civil Engineers.

3. On Google Earth (earth.google.com), find your Project and locate the required
borings.

4. Calculate the cost of drilling, looking for typical prices per linear meter of
drilling. Use aids such as databases (Construdata).
