Explain the meaning and objectives of Impromptu speech clearly to students.

Emphasize on the need for well-organized ideas and good presentation skills.

Show ways to develop and organize content. These can include having a clear introduction with a
purpose, body paragraphs with main and supporting ideas and a relevant conclusion. A few trial runs
were also carried out to let the students have a fee before the actual activity.
