LOKASI PENYELIDIKAN Penyelidikan dilakukan di dalam komplek PT. Arun NGL Co - Lhok Seumawe (Gambar 1). Sketsa lokasi titik-titik penyelidikan di dalam komplek PT. Arun ditampilkan pada Gambar 2. 1, INTRODUCTION a, The Aim of the Investigation The investigation is aimed to know the soil condition of the plan site of the HRSG’s Foundation - PTA. b. SCOPE OF WORKS The work consists of : Core drilling 10 sites @ 20 m of depth SPT at each hole @ 13 tests, Undisturbed sampling at each hole @ 2 tubes Sondir 10 sites. ¢, LOCATION OF WORK ‘The works were located inside of the PT. ‘Arun NGL Co complex ~ Lhok Seumawe (Figure 1). GEOLOGI - Morfologi Lokasi penyelidikan berada di sebelah timur pantai Sumatera, di tepi pantai; dan termasuk dalam —wilayah Morfologi Dataran Pantai. Wilayah ini memiliki kemiringan kurang dari 5% dengan air tanah yang dangkal dan statis, - Litologi Litologi yang terdapat di daerah ini merupakan aluvial endapan pantai yang didominasi oleh pasir lanauan dan di beberapa kedalaman terdapat beberapa lapisan lempung dan pasir kerikilan. dengan ketebalan lebih dari 20 meter (hasil pemboran). Batuan ini bersifat agak padat hingga padat (berdasarkan nilai SPT) tetapi belum mengalami pembatuan sehingga mudah terurai (terutama saat dibor). Batuan yang mendasari endapan aluvial ini diperkirakan Formasi Julurayeuk yang berupa endapan sungai, terdiri atas batupasir tuffan, lempung berlignit dan batulumpur (Peta Geologi Regional Lembar Lhok Seumawe, Direktorat Geologi Bandung, 1981). 3, GEOTEKNIK a, SONDIR Berdasarkan uji sondir yang dilakukan sebanyak 10 titik diketahui bahwa daya dukung tanah dengan nilai tekanan konus lebih dari 200 kg/cm2 sudah dicapai pada kedalaman antara 4 hingga 8 meter. 2, INVESTIGATION RESULTS a. GEOLOGY - Morphology The investigation was located at the eastern coast of Sumatera Island, close to the beach; and morphologically is a Coastal Plain Zone. The investigated area is a flat with slope less than 5% ; its ground water is shallow and static. - Lithology The lithology covering the investigated region is Aluvium / fluviatil as coastal deposites, dominantly silty sand with some silty clay layers and gravelly coarse sand which its total depth more than 20 meters (boring data). The lithology is medium dense to dense (SPT’s number class) but not yet lithificated so the rocks remain to be change as loose easily (especialy when drilled). The lithology beneath the the aluvium deposite could be Julurayeuk Formation that is consist of tuffaceous sandstone, piety clay and mudstone (Geologic Map of Lhok —Seumawe Quadrangle; Directorate of Geology ~ Bandung, 1981) 3. GEOTECHNIC a. SONDIR Refers to the 10 numbers of the Sondir investigation at the plant site known that the bearing capacity of the soil which the conus pressure 200 kg/cm? were reached at4 to 8 meters of depth.
