Dear Mrs. Petersen,

I am writing this letter to show my appreciation for all you have done for me
throughout middle school. Thank you for allowing me to express my personality. You
not only taught me to be myself but the entire class. My favorite activities we did in class
were naming games and book projects. The book projects allowed me to be creative. I
would always strive to make the best project so I would make 2-3 different projects, and
choose what one I thought was the best. I also enjoyed when we would collect donations
and proceeds for the homeless shelters. This taught me to be grateful for what I have
because others may not. That is something I will always remember to this day. Even
when you were going through tough times with your house burning you would put
others needs before yours. Because of all these things I decided I wanted to become a
teacher. I am currently attending South Dakota State University in Brookings and am
scheduled to graduate in 2022 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am truly
grateful that you were my teacher.

Thank you,

Morgyn Carson
