Day 1 Activities

Directions: ​As a class we will practice playing the melody and bass line of Long, Long Ago.

Directions: ​Create! Complete the melody in measures 3, 4, 7, and 8 using only half, quarter and eighth
notes in the measures labeled ‘Compose’. You may choose from Eb, F, G, Ab, Bb, C and D.
Day 2 Activities
Directions:​ Create! Practice improvising on a concert Eb note using quarter and eighth notes in
the measures labeled ‘Improvise’.

Day 3 Activities
Directions: ​Perform! Today you will have the opportunity to play for your peers alone or in small groups!
