a tv program of art. So let's start!

good morning viewers! this is the world of art. the tv show that you have been waiting for .
Today I' m going to interview 2 young ladies. They are going to talk about two different kind of
art ... so lets star with gerald. she is going to talk about a painting very popular called mona
lisa.

S: Hi Gerald! what can you tell us about mona lisa?

G: Oh hi! Sarela! Well The Mona Lisa, also known as La Gioconda has been considered as the
most famous painting in the world. The autor of this painting is Leonardo da Vinci an italian
painter. He was painting this portrait for many years. He started in 1503 and finished in 1519.
This painting has been shown in different places . First it was in the palace of Fontainebleau.
Then it was in palace of versalles and now you can find it in the Museum of Louvre. This
painting has been there since 1804.

S: Wuau! That’s interesting! And Who is the woman of this painting?

G: This woman was the wife of Francesco Bartolomeo of Giocondo. Her name was Lisa
Gherardini. The name Mona lisa was originated from her real name because mona in italian
means lady.

S:Really? I didnt’ know about it

G: yes! It’s amazing I know

S: so Why do you think this protait is so famous?

Well, I think that it’s really famous because da vinci used a good technique on this painting.
Also this painting has a lot of mysteries and that calls the attention of the people. ah! Sarela I
want to tell you something important

S: yeah! Tell me what happend?

G: the mona lisa was stolen many years ago and after of that event this painting became more
famous.

S: really?

G: yeah but don`t worry because months later it was found and now it is stil in the museum of
Louvre and many people visit this paiting.
