1. Best efficiency point is not defined. Efficiency curve seems to be continuously rising.

KBL to define flow and BKW at


BEP. Rated point within ±10% of BEP is preferable.
2. Flow vs head curve is flat. This may further cause unstable operation especially since the operating point will keep
shifting w.r.t impeller rpm (VFD operation) for these pumps. A rising curve with shut off at around 15% over rated
head is preferable for these pumps.
3. KBL to provide maximum impeller rpm at which the pump can be allowed to operate w.r.t the selected motor
rating.
4. KBL to provide Flow vs Head curve at 95% and 83% impeller rpm respectively (considering 100% rpm as the
maximum allowable rpm for continuous operation). Apart from that KBL to also provide Flow Vs Head curve at
different impleller rpm.
5. KBL to state allowable operating range and ensure if pump can be allowed to operate continuously at a flow of 153
m3/hr at 83% rpm.
6. Maximum and minimum impeller diameters to be mentioned.
