Dear Ms. Palmer,

I have completed my project on something I am very passionate about and that is the benefits of
Occupational Therapy . Occupational therapy is the best treatment for those with sensory processing
disorders. Receiving occupational therapy helps improves the lives of children with sensory processing
disorders by improving their happiness. This is done so by making them more comfortable, creating a
safe environment for these children, and lessening negative reactions to everyday activities.

I intend to create an interactive game that would be played during a child's OT appointment. This will be
a card game, but each card will have different proprioceptive or vestibular games on them. These games
will be very calming for the kids while making them more comfortable in the setting they are in. These
are activities that can be done both in the OT office or at home.

I plan to meet with my mentor over spring break in order to have a professionals approval on the activities
I come up with for each card. I will create the cards online in order to make them look professional.
Overall it should not take me more then a week to complete the entire product. I will also ask to test out
the game during one of the appointments that I shadow so I am able to observe the overall effectiveness.
