After SLE

1. What impact did this experience make on your life.

a. This experience was a great learning experience for me. I learned much more than

I expected and it really reassured me that I am on the right path for a successful

and happy future. I enjoyed learning more about SPD and getting to really see

what it looks like. It was amazing to see a child change simply through an hour

long therapy session. I am very appreciative of the therapists that let me shadow,

especially my mentor.

2. How did you solve the problems that came up?

a. There really were not any problems that came up other then any scheduling

conflicts. There were a few times where I was busy or a therapist was not

available in which we simply rescheduled. That was really the only problem I

experienced.

3. What will you take away from this experience that will help you in the future?

a. This experience made me excited for the future. I definitely want to become a

pediatric OT. I am most excited to be able to make a difference in kids lives that

will truly affect them for the rest of their life, in the most positive of ways.
