Equipment needed:

-No particular equipment is needed for this dance just the song itself.

Activity description:

-There is no formal description in partaking in this activity. You do however, follow the
steps that are said in the song. Explanation on how to correctly do each movement should be
clarified and thoroughly explained before hand. As well as no specific amount of participants
are needed.

Primary interaction:

-Because participants who are doing this dance, are not required to engage with each to
accomplish the goal of the dance. However, may be in the same vicinity to still dance, I
believe Aggregate is the primary interaction being engaged.

Adaptations:

-Initially the Cha Cha Slide dance was my source of modification to dance for
participants of stage 3 Age-related Macular Degeneration. The steps necessary for the dance are
heard and not needed to be seen visually. However there are more modifications I would make
for the Cha Cha Slide and dance in general. Such as, making sure the dance are is safe and
secure from risk of trips and falls. As well as making participants well aware of the space and
area they have surrounding them. Implementing floor textiles to direct the amount of space.
Thoroughly provide verbal and tactile cues to help demonstrate and explain the steps.
