Student Writing Goal: My goal is increase my writing skills to the point where it would be acceptable at a university.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this assignment was to create a resume we can use when applying for a job at any store or
company. It was also used as a template for any future resumes.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I performed better than I expected on the resume see a nearly perfect score came as a shock. But I am pround
of my work and score.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
My education section is one that I believe I did well on, giving enough information about myself that would
promote me better. “Current senior year GPA:3.6, Taken multiple Advance Math Classes (Adv. Geometry
and Adv. Algebra II), Taken two different Computer courses, Passed a CTE course and am a certified
Programmer, Active member of the S.T.E.M and Film Club”. Giving the heft amount of information was
definitely a great boost

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I have chosen to not extend this writing assignment because there is not enough information about myself to
reach 6-8 pages. Also if I did have 6-8 pages worth of information of myself it would come off as self
centered.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
Stick to what I know and be honest on my resumes as well as apply the do’s and don’ts when making any
resume
To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I would say, I achieved my goal of a university worthy resume making it a good sign for any future writing
assignments. The 19 out of 20 was better than anything I expected.
