include
a) behavioral adaptations; and
b) physical adaptations
Activity
Animal Adaptations

Students will match adaptations with words and animals. They will also
eliminate animals that do not belong in certain environments be clicking to
remove animals (i.e. polar bears in a lake scene). Students will then take a quiz
to test their knowledge of physical adaptations.

Students will pick adaptations (i.e. attracting mates and what food to eat), then
“blend” them and learn what type of behavioral adaptation they are (i.e.
instinct). Students will then correct false statements about adaptations to make
them true. After rolling an interactive dice, students will take what they have
learned and give a fact about the animal rolled (i.e. the student rolls a bear, the
student could say that a bear hibernates). Students will then test their
knowledge of behavioral adaptations.

Students will be able to look at animals such as birds and point out adaptations
like a duck’s webbed feet. Students will learn the about the need for plant and
animal adaptations such as changes to the environment.
Pedagogy

The last part of the activity will be Jeopardy, where students will test their
