Cats Rule Dogs Drool Discussion.

“As an experienced pet owner, I have been through the ups and downs of owning both a cat and
a dog. Cat people will often use the defense that cats are the superior pet based on their
independence. This is a true statement for most cats because unlike dogs they are more solitary
creatures. Therefore cats can end up being lower maintenance. However, this claim is not true for
all cats and dogs. For example, my kitten back home whines up a storm whenever anyone ceases
to provide her attention. On the other hand, my other cat Hermoine doesn't even like it when you
look at her for too long. Then there was my dog max, he used to come and go throughout the
house as he pleased without showing much distress. Max was always there as a companion. He
was happy to go on walks with you, snuggle and watch TV, and even play a game of fetch. What
type of companion would you prefer in a pet? Dogs are more friend like and are more than happy
to follow you on any adventure. Cats are more solitary and would rather be left alone, restricted
by the environment of your house alone. Overall, dogs are superior to cats because they are a
better friend to their owners.”
-My contribution to the discussion

“I think this is a strong argument because you not only showed a positive about the other sides
argument but also validated these other sides claim. This show's your audience that though this is
an argumentative piece, you are analyzing the situation as a whole and not just throwing your
bias emotions into it.”
