PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

LaShata’ Grayson, BS

LaShata’ Grayson is the graduate assistant for Sorority and Fraternity Life at
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. As an administrator for Sorority and
Fraternity Life at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville since August of 2018,
she has coached the Vice President, Director of Operations, Director of Marketing
and Development, Compliance Officer, Vice President of Leadership and
Education, and the Vice President of Public Relations. She works closely with the
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and Panhellenic Council (PHC) at SIUe,
assisting them with activities, programs, and with Roberts Rule of Orders when
conducting meetings. She has six years of experience in coaching and assisting
students. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated which
is a part of the NPHC Council, which makes her more relatable and credible to be
the Graduate Assistant of Sorority and Fraternity Life at Southern Illinois
University at Edwardsville.

While administrating at SIUE, she is consistently networking with other


Administrators and Graduate Assistance in the Sorority and Fraternity Life to
enhance Sorority and Fraternity Greek Life on SIUE campus. She specializes in
social media platforms for Sorority and Fraternity Life, Greek community
programming, overseeing the constitution and bylaws for undergraduate Greeks.

Grayson earned a Bachelor of Science with a double major in event management


and business management with a concentration in resources at Purdue University
in Indianapolis Indiana. She is currently studying for her Master’s in College
Student Personal Administration at SIUE. She also worked previously in student
affairs as an elementary special education teacher for k-4 students.
