o That there are opportunity costs associated with every type
of investment. o Decisions should be based on the options that will give the most return on investment. o Investment proposals have multiple stakeholders that needed to be convinced. o Risks can come from just about any direction, however sound decision making can help circumvent the realization of the risk. o Investments made today based on TMV (Future & Present) are critical in determining if a project is worthwhile or if an investment should be made. How will you apply what you have learned in this course to the Marketing and Strategy Business Plan that you’ve been developing throughout your MBA studies? o From the things that I have learned in this course, I will be able to better decide what business strategies will best work depending on their level of investment, as well as their ability to create a return on that investment. o I would also use my new-found ability to find credible sources to better analyze the industry that I am working with and determine how that information dictates investments. How might you apply what you learned in this course to your future professional work? o In the current professional management role I possess I will be able to better understand the financial burdens or financial gains that can be made on particular actions based on the resources they utilize and the return that those resources can generate for the company.
