To whom it may concern,

It is my honor to write a letter of recommendation for Jensen Becker. I met Jensen four years
ago and it became immediately obvious that she was going to be a successful individual. That
success was seen on in the classroom as well as on the athletic field and with her peers.
Jensen has been a standout student in the classroom since her freshman year. She has
continued to keep high goals and standards for herself. I have seen her strength and
commitment in the classroom become contagious with her peers and their efforts. This same
commitment and perseverance was seen on the athletic field.
Jensen became an athletic standout the moment she entered the gymnasium. From her
freshman year in the varsity program in basketball to this season, her senior year and fourth
year on the softball team, Jensen has worked very hard and persevered through many
challenges. Jensen has received honors her first three years in softball and was named team
captain of the basketball team this past winter. Her teammates and opponents alike have
witnessed her abilities.
Finally, I have had the privilege of seeing Jensen grow as a person. Over the past four years,
Jensen’s work ethic has never wavered. In fact, it has continued to grow stronger. She has
strived to be strong in the classroom and in sports. Because of this dedication and
determination, she has been rewarded with an athletic and academic scholarship at the college
level.
I believe that Jensen will make a great addition to any institution and profession that she
pursues. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 503-844-1900 or email me

Sincerely

Thomas Stephens
