My parents told me things were different in the past, like the need to learn a new

language.
In the past there wasn´t a need to learn new languages like English or Portuguese
because all the study and job opportunities at the time didn´t require you to know
some foreign idiom.
Not only that, but at the time our country was going thought a difficult time
because of internal factors like the inflation of the economy and the danger of
terrorism, making so that travel abroad was almost impossible for most
Peruvians, including my parents.
Things now days are very different, it’s almost required to master one or two
extra languages to get new job opportunities. Universities now make mandatory
to have basic knowledge of one idiom before one can graduated.
Not studying another language now days will cut you off the chance to travel
abroad and live in another non- speaking Spanish country and had access to new
jobs and study opportunities.
