INTRODUCTION

The Internet Live Stats is part of the Real Time Statistics Project. They are an

international team of developers, researchers , and analysts with the goal of making

statistics available in a dynamic and time relevant format to a wide audience around the

world. They pioneered two methods of visualizing data, first is the Single Unit Isotype

and the Live Isotype. Both are used on Internet Live Stats in addition to our live

statistic counters, for which they are the trusted leading provider worlwide, their clients

include BBC News, United Nations Conference Rio, Wired, Kaspersky Lab, etc.

Moreover, when they launched 7 Billion World in October 2011, they came up

with an important variation of the traditional Isotype system. With isotype, the system

developed in the 1930’s by Otto Neurath in which large sets of quantitative data are

visualized by repeating symbols of the same size rather than making the symbols larger

or smaller in order to convey magnitude, each symbol represents a large quantity. In the

words of Otto Neurath, the selection of the unit will be as great as possible but small

enough to give the rough curve of development clearly. This rule ensures that a

comparison can be easily made between multiple sets of symbols drawn within the

same picture on the page. But when the goal is to convey not a relationship between

quantities but the magnitude of a quantity, they thought that the best way to achieve this

was to make each symbol representative of a single unit. They had just introduced the

Single Unit Isotype, which is now employed across our live statistic projects, including

 Furthermore, live counters is a part also of Internet Live Stats because when

using static numbers to describe numerical change through time, we fail to provide a

sense of the relationship between the magnitude of change and the flow of time, which

is how we experience change in real life. What static numbers fail to provide is the

perception of the frequency and timing of events, the rhythm, an essential part of nature

and a tool for understanding the physical phenomena surrounding us. When we

combine the live counters with the Single Unit Isotype concept, we achieve the ultimate

live statistic visualization. The live isotype represents a revolution for statistical

representation, comparable to the introduction of live motion picture in a world of still

photographs.

In addition, this research study is about the different interactive websites which

are the YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and etc. Interactive website is

a website which can interact with it’s users. It allows the users to communicate and

interact with it.

 ANALYSIS

The Internet Live Stats was use in order to record thoroughly and in order to

identify the number of users in each day

Furthermore, there are six websites that has been recorded and observed

according to the latest statistical data reported per day and also the number of users,

these are the videos reviewed, Facebook active users, Twitter active users, photos

uploaded on Instagram, Pinterest active users and Skype calls.

The first website that I have interacted with was the videos reviewed that in five

minutes interaction and at 2:50 in the afternoon there are 23, 436,278 videos that has

been reviewed already, the second website was Facebook in five minutes also at 3:12 in

the afternoon there are already 2,458,248,474 users, next is the Twitter within five

minutes at 3:05 in the afternoon, I recorded 345,411,179 users already.

Moreover, the photos that has been uploaded on Instagram at 3:18 in the

afternoon there are already 371,713 photos that has been uploaded, next is the Pinterest

and within five minutes interaction at 3:24 in the afternoon there are 283,321,122 active

users already, while in Skype calls at 3:31 in the afternoon there are already 1,115,438

calls.

Therefore, interactive websites are a big help on our society and also to our

country because each and every day the level of users are increasing, we are very

thankful and proud to our website developers because without them we’ll not having

these kinds of websites which are interesting to do with. As time flies different websites

are going to be develop, so we should treasure and use these in a nice way so that our

population of users will increase and for the people to become more productive and

eligible when it comes to social medias. We should always remember that when using

these websites we should manage our time also so that our other tasks or obligations in

our lives will not be affected.
