Level correction :
Corrected DL level is obtained by compensating the DL receive level with the Base
Station power reduction due to Power Control. This can be obtained from the following
combination of attributes :
Corrected DL level = ServRxLev + 2*ServBsPowStepActual
as each power control step in GSM coding represents 2 dB.
Similarly, a correction of the UL level is obtained from :
Corrected DL level = ULRxLevFull + 2*ServMsTxPowStepActual

Example 3: DL and UL RxLev traffic distribution showing the effect of active power
control mechanisms in the UL

Example 4: TA analysis as a function of RxLev reveals a traffic spot away from the cell
main serving area.
Example 5: Analysis of poor quality contributors shows average TA is growing as quality
decreases, and average level is low and getting lower as quality decreases. This points
to a quality problem linked to lack of coverage.

the influence of invalid measurements in the trace is computed as additional information.

Example 2 : Comparative Path Balance analysis at TRX and timeslot level. Note that
small differences (<2 dB) between TRX and even timeslot values do not mean that there
is a particular problem on the cell. Only bigger differences should be taken seriously.
Example 3 : Path Balance detailed analysis. Note the non-linearity at lower DL levels.
However, in this example the number of valid samples at low level is too small for the
results to be reliable.
