Option
Feederless Solution for multi Radio 1
Solution for installing the BTS on Platform:-

1. The Installation of the Base or System module will be on the Platform

provided on the top of the Tower.
2. All the Antenna’s Mount will be close to the Platform.
3. we will only use longer length Jumpers to make a connectivity
between BTS and Antenna’s.
4. In this solution there is no need of feeder cables, all the 3 Antennas
will be connected with the RF module inside the BTS with 6 - 7 mtr
lengths of Jumpers only.
5. The Power, Grounding Cables will get routed from the BTS system
module which is on the top of the Tower to the Shelter, where we
have power plant and the Grounding Busbar’s
6. Alarm cables will get extended from BTS and will be connected inside
the Shelter.
7. For alarms and power cables connectivity we will use IP55 boxes

Option 3
Feederless Solution for multi Radio
Distributed or Remote Radio Head (RRH)
GSM Mount

RF Module Antenna

BTS
Jumper of longer Length
Platform for Installing RF Module

Note:- In this option the RF module will be on the top of the Tower and the system module will be
installed either on the wall or on the tower leg. In this configuration also we will not use any feeder
cable.

Option 4
Solution for multi Radio
On Foundation

BTS RF Module
System Module

Foundation for Installing BTS

Note:- This option can be used at that place where there is an existing foundation of existing BTS
and space is there for installing new BTS. In this option we will use Feeder cables for connectivity
between BTS and Antenna.

Option 4
Solution for multi Radio
On Wall or shelter wall

System Module
BTS

RF Module
Note:- this option can be used at that place where there is no place inside the shelter to install this BTS

Option 4
Solution for multi Radio
On Pole Site (Rooftop pole )

System Module
BTS

RF Module
Note:- This option can be used at that place where there is no place inside the shelter to install this
BTS and if there is space to put the BTS inside the Shelter we will install the same inside see option
number 5 in these slides.

Option
1
Solution for installing the BTS On Pole Site (Rooftop pole ) :-

1. The Installation of the Base or System module will be on the wall of

the shelter or room where Power system is installed.
2. The bts will be at one particular point from there we will connect all
the antenns with feeder cables and jumpers.
3. The Power, Grounding Cables will get routed from the BTS system
module to the Shelter, where we have power plant and the Grounding
Busbar’s
4. Alarm cables will get extended from BTS and will be connected inside
the Shelter.

Option 5
Feederless Solution for multi Radio
Inside Shelter

1. If the existing site is Flexi BTS and is

partally filled or running with a configuration
of 444 then we can install this multi radio
BTS inside the Flexi cabinet.
2. In Case of Ultra BTS as existing Site we
have to look for the space for new BTS
adjesent to the existing BTS as shown in
pic.
3. All the Antennas will be connected with the
Feeder cable and jumpers.
Note :
Ultra bts cabinet can not be used for installing this Multi
radio BTS because the inner dimensions are not 19” rack
compatible.
