Supersize Me

1. Choose a small everyday object that is basically a rectangular prism,

triangular prism, or cylinder.
2. Sketch the object. Include all the required measurements of the object
including:
 Length
 Width
 Height
 Circumference
 Diameter
 Radius
 Etc.
3. Using your knowledge of equivalent ratios, supersize the measurements to
make the object larger. You may choose your ratio to supersize (i.e. 1:2, 1:3,
1:4).
4. Using your new numbers, create a net of the new supersized object. Draw
this net out on Bristol board, foam board, or cardboard. Cut out and fold to
create you object.
5. Measure all the words, letters, pictures in terms of height and width. Again
use your ratio (the same as the one in step 3) to draw these things onto you
package. Colour or paint to match your original object.
