Dr. Nicholas Player

Physical Therapist
CORA Rehabilitation Clinic
10743 Narcoossee Rd., Suite A-24, Orlando, FL 32832

Dr. Player,

It was a pleasure meeting you during my winter break from Georgia College and State
University. I am currently enrolled in the Athletic Training Program completing my junior year.
Please consider this letter along with my resume as my formal request to intern with CORA
Physical Therapy. The CORA statement, “And no one gets patients back to life as quickly and
healthfully as we do” resonates with my desire to provide the most professional patient centric
care, and have those patients resume their active lifestyle as soon as possible. An internship at
CORA will provide another real world setting with hands-on experience that will help accelerate
my understanding of the best practices to provide superior physical therapy.

As an athletic training student, I understand orthopedic injury assessment, therapeutic

modalities, and therapeutic rehabilitation. I specifically have a curiosity and eagerness to learn
as much as I can about rehabilitating injuries and aiding patients into leading a painless active
lifestyle. My communication skills, work ethic, and genuine aspiration to learn as much
information as I can enables me to be a strong candidate for this position. I believe my athletic
background through playing collegiate volleyball at GCSU helps me connect with the patient,
and empathize with their physical ailment. I have excelled in the classroom setting and as an
athletic training student, however, I understand there is much more to learn, and CORA
Physical Therapy would provide a remarkable environment to continue my education and
training. I would strive to be a valued asset to CORA Physical Therapy if given the opportunity.

I believe my professional demeanor, empathy towards patients, and insatiable desire to

learn are key attributes you may be looking for as an intern. Thank you for your time and
consideration on my hope to be part of your skilled physical therapy team at CORA.

Regards,

Kayla Brockway
