My name is Angela Von Hatten, pre-kindergarten teacher and administrative

intern, and I am overjoyed to write this letter of recommendation for my fellow peer,
Denise Cisneros. With over 20 years of experience in education, Denise has evolved
into an expert of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional knowledge. She is able to
create a classroom environment that is welcoming for all learners and encourages
students to strive to be their best self. Denise supports learning for all students by
creating hands-on activities that cater to each child’s strengths while also attending to
their critical thinking skills during small group and one-on-one sessions. She is a hard
worker who is committed to providing vocabulary-enriched classroom experiences for
her students.

Denise follows all district and campus rules and expectations. She is very
respectful and understands the importance of collaborating with others. By having
Denise as a mentor (previously) and peer I have gained a wealth of knowledge that has
