Malin Kundang

A village named like there lived a young forward who was named Malin. Hel live with
his mother, while his father has long passed away. One day Malin expressed his desire for his
mother to go wander into town.

Malin :”Mom. I’m going to migrate to the city alone, who knows I can get a good job there for
our lives.”

Mom :”are you sure son? Looking job in the big city more difficult than finding work in our
village.”

Malin :”I’m sure mom, please let me go to the city.”

Mother :”Well if that’s your desire, I let you go to the city.”

Malin departed the next morning to the city to find a work. Place to place he went to but
he didn’t found job. Until one day until one day he saw a beautiful woman in market but
suddenly her bag was mugged by a man.

Cahaya :”Please, thief!!!!! thief!!!”

Malin immediately help the Cahaya and pursue the thief. Finally Malin can capture the
thief and judge him.

Thief :”Please sir forgive me…”

Malin :”I will not firgive you>”

Thief :”Please forgive me sir if you forgive me I will not do this again.”

Malin :”Promise to me you not do this again.”

Thief :”Yes I promise.”

Malin :”Ok I let you go.”

Thief :”Thank you sir.”

Cahaya :”Thank you for helped me, for the expression of gratitude, will you stay to my
jouse…?”

Malin :”Yes ma’am.”

Cahaya :”Do not call me ma’am my name is Cahaya.”

 In short, Malin arrived Cahaya’s home and than met with the father. Since the incident
Malin appointed as an employee and become familiar with the Cahaya. Becouse of its familiarty,
to the extent Malin barely remember the mother of the home. Not long after, they were married.
Once married to Cahaya, Malin worked as an employee in law.Not accidently, the ship stoped at
this village forward, where he and his mother lived. A relative saw Malin trimmed and
immediately convey Mrs. Malin

Neighbor :”Mrs Malin… Mrs Malin… Malin is come home he is at the harbor now.”

Mother :”Thank you for tell me this good news.”

Alhamdulillah My son is come home (In the heart)

Neighbor :”Come on Mrs, we get there!”

Hearing this news Malin’s Mother was very happy. The day that her wait is come.

Mother :”Malin, Malin, Malin my son you are come home I miss you so much.”

Shamed to admit his mother Malin was lying

Malin :”who are you?? My mother is along dead.”

Mother :”it’s your mother son, I gave birth and rised you,. Why you do this to me?”

Malin :”No you’re not my mother, my mother had died.”

Cahaya :”Is it true she is your mother? Then why you don’t recognize her?

Malin :”No she is not my mother.”

Then her mother is upset to him, child she born and raised not admit her Tearfully Malin
get out of the village.

Mother :”Oh God, why is my only one child do this things to me? I gave birth and rise him Oh
God send your curse to him he is the rebellious son, turn him into a stone.”

Suddenly in the middle of journey, the storm came, the wind, waves, lightning blazing,
The ship was shaken.

Malin :”What’s this? The storm so great!”

Suddenly lightning blaze him.

Malin :”Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhh……!!!!!”

Instantly Malin become a stone
