SCOPE AND PURPOSE The purpose of this document is to delineate the methodologies associated in the nightshift works in all areas included in the KGDBN project. These construction civil activities are included in the work packages that the CONTRACTOR received from the COMPANY in accordance with Section ‘12 “Initiation and Execution of Works” of Schedule H "Administration Requirements" of the project contract This method statement was prepared to comply with the required technical documentations and to serve as a construction guideline that the CONTRACTOR shall execute to perform the affiliated works in a manner that is safe and conformant to the expected results of the COMPANY. Prior to performing the associated Works, COMPANY shall handover the predefine areas in which the pertinent civil construction works shall be executed. CONTRACTOR shall conduct a site verification to assure that the pertinent area conforms to the issued latest IFC drawings. This site verification will allow the CONTRACTOR to have awareness of the topology as well as providing an idea of the necessary equipment, tools and manpower to be utilized in the performance of the Work In cases where an obstruction or construction constraint is discovered during the site verification, CONTRACTOR shall immediately inform the COMPANY by providing necessary reports and supporting documentations. Section 9.0 “Variation Procedure” of the project documents shall be implemented if the CONTRACTOR deems that these discovered obstacles and constraints will impede the planned civil construction activity Encompassed in this document are the major activities related to the nightshift works to be performed in the KGDBN project © Excavation works + Rebar fabrication and installation © Formwork activity © Conereting works Painting Works + Backfiling and Compaction works During the execution of the associated work the CONTRACTOR reserves the right to conduct variations in the construction execution to suit unforeseen conditions.
