Catch Me If You Can Review

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It features two
masterful performance of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. For Leo, he was a teenager when
he started becoming a conman. He uses humor and sadness pitch perfectly at all the right times.
Leo’s performance proves that he is one of the best actors in Hollywood. Leo’s character was a
teenage conman, who deceived people from his own father to the US Government. There was
one scene in the movie where his dad told him not to stop forging checks. And this gave me a
thought that his dad was teaching him bad morals, which then led to a forging spree from USA
to Europe. Frank is not in a way a positive role model. Still, we can learn from his actions. Frank
is just a normal teenager who seeks longing from his parents. Because at that time, his parents
were having a divorce.

For Tom Hanks, he is a hardworking man who abandoned his family. He is faithful to his
job that at most times, spent his Christmas in office. The relationship between Leo and Tom’s
character teaches us that friendship comes in unexpected ways. Leo needed someone to lookout
for him. And he found Tom who always looked out for him but not in a way of what you think.
When Leo got caught, it was that time where their friendship developed deeply and when Leo
got to serve his sentence in FBI as a forging checks agent. In short, the movie was great because
of the humor, kudos to Steven Spielberg.
