The Alvin Community college Library is useful to many of the college campus

students that attend, The librarian offers many different tools and resources that help

out with students day to day assignments. One of many different things that are

provided with going to the Library are the ability to rent out many different categories

and genres of books, The option to print out from the school printers for as little to 10

cents per page print, A number of different technology devices you can use such as

Kindle books & many different computer station that allows students to work peacefully

relating to the Learning Lab stations. There also the study stations that can students

can use for quiet reading time or just to relax. The Library also has two classes in them
both are which for teaching math related subjects that also have daily tutors that will

offer help if needed after class.

The librarian was kindful lady that was more than happy to assist me with

questions I had for the Library. The Library looks similar to a everyday bookstore with

paintings on the walls and many different bookshelves, something that really caught my

attention was a wall full of different face mask sculptures that you introduced by when

you first walk into the Library. What I learned from going to the library is that its a useful

area in which if you need to study or look up information. All in which my experiences

with going to the Library have been positive, I walked around checked out the

bookshelves and computer lab stations and even got a little ahead on my algebra

homework by staying in the study station. There were no big events plan as far as when

I discuss with the librarian, She told me that the next event wasn’t planned for the next

few weeks and She hasn’t thought about what it will be yet.
