AUTO DAZZLE………
RIDE WITH PRIDE
SECTOR
Auto Dazzle will be providing customers with five services: washing, interior cleaning, Teflon coating,
injector cleaning, throttle body cleaning. Auto Dazzle has no true competitors that are trying to offer
a high quality service for a reasonable rate. Most are trying to compete on price alone Auto Dazzle
ability to provide a high quality service, both in regards to the actual washing as well as customer
service is all based on their ability to find the best employees. Hiring the best employees is cost
effective because it decreases HR costs associated with turnover and other employee costs. Hiring
the best employees and making sure that they are well taken care of ensures that they in turn take
care of the customers. Study after study proves that a happy employee is far more likely to provide
the highest level of customer service compared to an employee who is not happy and feels that they
are being taken advantage of.

LOCATION
The Auto Dazzle will be based in Vashi, to Navi Mumbai. This area has a number of benefits in terms
of the market that it will provide for the business. Many people in the neighbourhood own and/or
lease new cars and place great value on their cars and how they look. There are a large number of
car dealerships in the area--five within three miles of the proposed location for Auto Dazzle

OBJECTIVES
1. To be viewed as a premium Value Added Service in VASHI.

2. Maintain a very high gross profit margin.

3. Maintain a modest, steadily growing net profit margin.

4. Expand to two locations after third year of operation.

MISSION
The mission of Auto Dazzle is to provide top-quality Value Added service for luxury car owners in
Vashi. Auto Dazzle will work to keep employees satisfied in order to maintain customer service.
Target Customer
Auto Dazzle segments its customers by type of car ownership. We believe that the type of car that
a person owns says volumes about their driving, and, therefore their car washing and detailing
requirements.

1. New car owners: Owners of newer cars are most likely to use a hand car washing service. These
owners take great pride in their cars and will bring them often to the wash and detail
service. The goal with these customers is to promote regular use of the wash and detail
service. The aim is to inform these customers that AUTO DAZZLE will keep their car looking as
good as it did the day they drove it off the lot.

2. Older luxury car owners: These people have either owned their high-end luxury cars for several
years or are unable to afford the expense of a new luxury car but want the feel of relaxed
driving. Both of these groups want to keep their cars in the best shape possible. Those who have
bought second-hand cars will often spend many hours in their cars and will place high
importance on keeping their cars looking good. These owners will bring their cars in for regular
washes and occasional details.

3. Sports car owners: These people are often younger or middle-aged men and will regard the look
of their car as important. They will also pride themselves on the look of their car and will have
their car hand washed (at least) weekly. These drivers will have an occasional detail, but will
keep their cars so clean the detail will not be necessary very often.
4. Lifetime owners: Many of these people have owned their cars for more than five or six
years. They are attached to their cars as friends and though it may be more sensible for them
to purchase a new car, they will bring their car in for a wash occasionally, just when the car is
dirty. They like their cars to look presentable, and want to keep it in good shape but are not tied
up in the look of their car. For this reason, they will not have a detail carried out on their car
unless they are selling it.

5. Dealerships: There are five new and used car dealerships within three miles of the proposed
location of AUTO DAZZLE. These dealerships often use outside car wash services to detail their
vehicles before they are put up for sale. In addition, there are five other car dealerships within
a seven-mile radius of AUTO DAZZLE

BREAK EVEN POINT
The following plan outlines the financial development of AUTO DAZZLE. The business will be initially
financed by a personal investment and will finance growth through cash flow. This will mean that
the company will grow more slowly than it could, but it will ensure that Mark retains control over
the direction of the company. In year three, it is hoped that the company will be able to open a
second location. It is envisioned that an outside loan or equity funding will be sought at that time.

 PEST Analysis
POLITICAL ANALYSIS: The political aspect of PEST is something that is well suited for our business
idea. Following are the reasons for this:

Political Stability: Since our plan is to open our business in the state of Maharashtra naturally the
conditions are very much suited for us. Maharashtra has always been at the helm of industrial
development. Even looking at the political history of the state, one would realize that In the past 20
years any government that has formed in Maharashtra has completed its full term. So the political
environment is very much favourable for the opening up of business.

“Make in Maharashtra” and reducing red tape: even though our business is not concerned with
manufacturing industry, but the coming of the new BJP led government in Maharashtra has ushered
in a new vigour when it comes to attracting new industries and businesses to the state. The state
government has taken up several initiatives to bring down the number of regulations required for
setting up new business. When it comes to acquiring new electricity and water connection,
Maharashtra is the best. Also Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation under whose juri sdiction our
company comes under is one of the best municipal corporations of our country financially and
administratively. So both at the state and municipal level conditions are favourable for setting up
new business.

ENVORINMENTAL ANALYSIS: Our business would be primarily focusing on Navi Mumbai and Thane.
Considering this fact one would realize that we are in a much better position to set up our business.
Following are the reasons for it:

PER CAPITA INCOME: Per capita income in Thane district has shot up by around 162% in the last 10
years. The result is that people will have more disposable income which they would spend on buying
cars, refrigerators etc. More cars would mean increased opportunity for us to do business.

DISPOSABLE INCOME: Many a times owning a car is considered as luxury. In India people would
normally go for owning a house first and then they would think about car (there are a few
exceptional cases though). Considering this psyche of Indian consumers we are quite delighted to
find out that 80% of the household in Navi Mumbai have their own house. This in turn places them
in a much better position to increase their spending on other luxury items which in turn allows us to
increase our business.
Also the increasing number of malls and shopping complexes in Navi Mumbai is a witness to the
increasing disposable incomes and buying habits of the consumers.

SOCIAL ANALYSIS: the social analysis can be done on the following criteria:

Literacy rate: The literacy rate of Navi Mumbai is around 98% which is one of the best in the whole
country.

Physical infrastructure: with the top notch infrastructure that this city is blessed with, people do
not hesitate to buy new cars. Also around 68% of people living in Navi Mumbai are working in Navi
Mumbai itself thus providing them with another opportunity to buy vehicles. Around 49% have their
own vehicle of which 10 % are cars. Thus there is already a huge opportunity for us to tap into.

Demographic dividend: India is a very young country and the same applies to Maharashtra and Navi
Mumbai as well. Of the 20 lakh people living in the city, 34.86% is employed which is quite a big
number.

TECHNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS: According to the recent survey carried out by NASSCOM, Maharashtra
is a state with the highest number of people using the internet. City’s contribution to this number is
also substantial. With so many people using internet on both PC and mobile, our job of reaching out
to people gets cut out significantly. Also with the launch of mobile app it becomes easy for us to
carry out marketing and bring in new consumers by providing them service conveniently and at a
single click of a button.
 STPD Analysis
Segmentation:

 Demographic – By personal attributes such as age, marital status, gender, ethnicity, sexuality,
education, or occupation.
 Psychographic=By personality, risk aversion, values, or lifestyle.
 Behavioural– By how people use the service, how loyal they are, or the benefits that they are
looking for.

Targeting:
 New car owners:
 Luxury car owners:
 Sports Car/Bike owners
 Lifetime owners
 Dealerships
 Local businesses

Positioning:

Premier VALUE ADDED SERVICE provider

 Pricing- The pricing scheme is based on a per service price.

 Advertising and Promotion- will use several different methods for advertising and promotion.
 Customer service- Exemplary customer service will be provided.

Differentiation:

 Low cost premier auto washing service

 Website & App based support and booking
 PROTER’S FIVE FORCE MODEL
 Threat of new entrants: - Since the business is not capital intensive and also nature of the
business is simple in nature, there is a threat of new entrants. Navi-Mumbai has some other
car wash companies such as 3M, Wurth.
 Threat of substitute product or service: - Companies are coming up with new Technologies
since they are rich in capital. Hence, there is a threat of bringing substitute products and
services by various companies and competitors.
 Bargaining power of customers: - The customers do hold a bargaining power where they
have the power to dominate the prices. The nature of the work is simple and also it can be
easily replaced so it is important to give ultimate importance to the customer who will only
come back when they will get good service in addition to reasonable price.
 Bargaining power of suppliers- The bargaining power of suppliers is also termed as the
market of inputs. Supplier of all nature whether raw material, labour, and services for this
business can be prove to be a major source for accomplishing the objective . Since in this
business, there are large number of supplier in terms of raw material, service and labour, the
power is in the handoff business
 Competitive rivalry: - At present, competition is less because of less players in the market.
Also the prices are less as compared to the competitors, but in future, vulnerability can
increase since the business is not so capital intensive, hence possibility of future competition
may occur.
 BUDGETING
 LEGAL ENTITIES
Starting a business can be both exciting and stressful. But, with proper planning and

guidance, the process can be smooth and problem free.

The process of setting up your own business can be broken into a few simple steps:

1. Prepare a business plan. A properly written business plan will serve not only as a blueprint for

your company's future operations, but will be pivotal to obtaining capital and financing.

2. Choose a location to set up your business. While the first thought may be to organize your

business in your home state, there are certain advantages to organizing in other jurisdictions.

Delaware is a popular state given its favourable corporate laws. There are even reasons to

consider incorporating overseas.

3. Obtain financing or other forms of start-up capital.

4. Determine a legal structure for your business. Sometimes an S corp is the way to go, other

times an LLC or a partnership. There are multiple forms of business entities and they vary slightly

by state. Each will have different tax implications, different forms of business governance, and

varying legal and procedural requirements.

5. Register your business. Once you have selected the form of legal structure, you will need to

register your company with the jurisdiction you choose. You will also need to renew that

registration each year to ensure that your company remains legally in existence.
6. Obtain a Tax ID. One of the most important steps to establishing a company is obtaining a tax

ID from the IRS. This is an integral step to creating the separate identify of the business entity,

establishing its separate taxation, and activating the tax benefits of the chosen form of business

entity.

7. Obtain business licenses and permits. Most businesses will need to obtain a license to legally

operate in its given place of business from the local municipality. Failing to do so could result in

fines or other penalties.

The resources found here will help you work your way through these steps. Additionally, the

attorneys and law firms listed in our directories can assist you in setting up your own company

and managing its legal needs as it commences operations.

Credit Guarantee Scheme for Micro and Medium Enterprises:

Availability of bank credit without the hassles of collaterals / third party guarantees would be a major
source of support to the first generation entrepreneurs to realize their dream of setting up a unit of
their own Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE). Keeping this objective in view, Ministry of Micro, Small
& Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India launched Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGS) so
as to strengthen credit delivery system and facilitate flow of credit to the MSE s ector. To
operationalise the scheme, Government of India and SIDBI set up the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust
for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE).

The main objective is that the lender should give importance to project viability and secure the credit
facility purely on the primary security of the assets financed. The other objective is that the lender
availing guarantee facility should endeavour to give composite credit to the borrowers so that the
borrowers obtain both term loan and working capital facilities from a single agency. The Credit
Guarantee scheme (CGS) seeks to reassure the lender that, in the event of a MSE unit, which availed
collateral free credit facilities, fails to discharge its liabilities to the lender, the Guarantee Trust
would make good the loss incurred by the lender up to 75 / 80/ 85 per cent of the credit facility.

Bank from Financial Institutions

Bajaj Finserv: Loan up to Rs. 30 lacs can avail from this financial institute.

Smart Business Loan facility by ICICI Bank: through this scheme we can avail an amount from Rs. 2
lacs to Rs. 25 lacs.

Loans can be availed from other financial institutions as well.
