a designee's project manager that i've interviewd believes that a successful completion of a project

based on his assigned task must be safe to the occupant or user of the structure. He should paramount
the safety and welfare of the client as well as preserving and protecting the environment in collaboration
with the designer. A project manager working for a designer should have a one goal together with the
designer and it is to satisfy the owner safely and econimically. The project manager should be relaying
the thoughts of the designer to the other teams and to accept changes and be open to ideas of the
owner and the suggestion of the contractor

A project manager working for the owner that ive interviwed believes that a successful completion of a
project is to relay the ideas and likes of the owner to the other teams clearly and precisely to avoid
miscommunication. He should relay or provide all the needed requirements for the startup of the
project. He believed that the owner must be consistent of his / her decision in order to avoid wasting
time and money. The project manager should be objective while talking to the owner about how things
work in the industry when the owner himself has a misconception or not being able to comprehend
technical works.

On the other hand, A contractor's project manager believed that their party must be honest and truthfull
while being on the field and be open to changes of the other teams. They should be driven that the
project must be follwed or executed carefully and based on the resulting plans given by the designer's
party with the approval of the owner. A good communication to all parties should be kept in mind so that
they will be able to meet their expectations based on the design and analysis of the structure

A project manager, despite the diffrences in parties, strongly believes that good communication, honest
and truthfull work, teamwork and coordination in all parties will be the key factors for a successful
completion of the project
