I have known Ms. Concepcion for 12 years. Ms. Concepcion was my student in 4" and 5® grade, an employee at Waipahu Elementary, and currently is a student teacher at Waipahu Elementary School in a Kindergarten class. ‘Ms, Concepcion has been able to adapt well to her students and meet the individual needs of each student in the class she serviced this year. Ms. Concepcion has also adapted well to the grade level she works with. Most of the Kindergarten teachers have worked together for a number of years and have a great relationship. She has been able to adapt and build professional relationships with all teachers on the grade level. Ms. Concepcion has attended our teacher articulation days and has learned a lot about data teams, NGSS, project-based learning as well as different strategies to implement with her students. Working at Waipahu Elementary has given her experience in working with a wide range of learners from those who are ELL, homeless, and culturally diverse. Ms. Concepcion has also been observed by our principal during her student teaching and described as a solid teacher. Lastly, Ms. Concepcion is a very hardworking individual. Her intelligence, work ethic, perseverance, determination, and ability to apply everything she learns to develop the best quality of ‘work possible has been second to none.
