Dear Parents of Ms.

Amspaughs Class,

Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your child’s schooldays and learning
process. We have learned so much for each and every one of your children. During our time in
the classroom we helped your child to learn about teeth and the importance of them. In our unit
we did a science investigation involving an egg and having an egg soak in a sugary drink. The
students then got to brush the sugary substance off of the egg using a toothbrush. The students
also had the opportunity learn how to floss using an egg carton and play dough. There was
kernels placed in the play dough and then students had to use floss that was provided to get the
kernels out.
Again thank you so much for allowing us to be in the this classroom. Hope the end of
your school year is fantastic and good luck with the next school year.
