This handbook presents a comprehensive approach to well test
interpretation combining type-curves as a diagnosis device to recognise
various flow regimes, and conventional methods of analysis as precise
tools for computation of the unknown reservoir/well parameters.
‘The scope is to provide practical understanding of the most useful
basic methods to analyse buildup and drawdown pressure data as well as
their theoretical basis so that the user is aware of the assumptions
underlying each method, and their limitations.
Interpretation methods are ilustrated by field examples provided by
