Lesson idea implementation: For this video, students will view this video as extra support, this will come
after the lesson and will be a tool to help summarize content. This video will take approximately five minutes
to view. Immediately following the video, the class will participate in discussion about the video. Using a
popcorn method, I will allow students to participate in conversation by allowing them to call on one another
in order to speak.

Reflective Practice: To further extend this lesson, students will collaborate and create their own BrainPOP
videos to present specific concepts within rational numbers. This activity will allow students the experience to
work as producers amongst their community.
