Description of Artifact (​*The personal artifact may be anything that demonstrates growth, skills, interests, discoveries, and/or abilities
from your experience this last year -- can be school-related or not.)

​A picture of a solar suitcase that me and my physics class wired and put together. The solar
suitcase contains light bulbs and different outlets as well as a solar panel. We sent one to an
elementry school in Kenya and a smaller one to the Cloverdale police department.

Why did you choose this as one of your artifacts?

I chose this as a personal artifact rather than an academic because instead of just turning in a
piece of paper and getting a grade on it, the solar suitcase can help our community and others in
the future.

How did your experience with this artifact change or impact you?
Making the solarsuit case was such a rewarding experience. It felt amazing knowing I was going
to provide power to those in need and give back to my community.

Did you see growth in your targeted soft skills through the course of working on this artifact?
Explain.
I did see growth in my targeted soft skills because I was really engaged in making the solar
suitcase since I knew it was for a good cause.
