To Whom It May Concern:

I have known Mireya Valdovinos for the past 3 and a half years, having served as her teacher of
Physical Education as well as having her as a Teacher’s Assistant. I am very familiar with
Mireya and all of the qualities that will make her a great asset in anything that she pursues.

Mireya is a dedicated, intelligent, and respectful student who strives for excellence beyond the
classroom. On the mat, she has excelled as a member of the El Capitan wrestling programs for
two years. Additionally, Mireya has been involved in the Wrestling team sportsmanship, CVOC
yearbook, and ECHS yearbook clubs and has earned a large amount of community service hours
working with the Haunted Flores Farm as well as the Haunted Car Wash. Due to her
commitment and determination, Mireya has earned a perfect attendance award. Within the
classroom, she strives for academic achievement earning a 3.9 gpa. Mireya is a natural leader
and role model for all students she comes into contact with. Her eagerness and commitment to
work hard and succeed in all things is not only commendable but also contagious.

Mireya is an intelligent young woman who has great potential in her future endeavors. She will
be successful in any path she chooses. It is a pleasure to recommend her to you without
reservation.
