Narration. itis written to explain what, when , and who. It reveals what aredaer should learn. Narration paragraphs are usually written in chronological order. The narrative needs to explain whois in the story, tell what is happening and when it happened. The story itself is written in time, or chronological order, as the events occurred. ‘Two ways of Arranging Details or Actions: 1. Chronological Order or Time Order In a chronological or time order, you present the details or actions in the same order as they actually happen. This arrangement is used in storytelling to build the climax and to explain how something is done as in a process. The basic technique used in narration is chronological order, i.e., incidents are told according to the time of their occurrence. The detail that happened first is mentioned first followed by the detail that happened next; narration ends up with the detail that happened last. This technique is called straight narrative, 2, Flashback Ina flashback, you present a later detail or action before the earliest details or actions are traced up to the latest detail or action. This is in storytelling for a special or artistic effect. Use an appropropriae point of view that is the first person point of view, the narrator, are the actor or a participant in the event, and the third person Point of view if you are merely a reporter or an observer of the event. In storytelling, indicate the direct statements of characters by means of quotation marks.
