Describe the job(s) you have participated in outside of school.

I am a receptionist at the front desk of a hotel. I work with people coming in and staying at the
hotel.

If this is a regular job, on average, how many hours do you work each week?
About 13 hours a week on average.

If this is an occasional job, how many hours do you estimate you have spent doing this activity?

Do you enjoy the work that you have done so far? Why or why not?
Don’t enjoy this work as much because I don't like having to sit around. I would much rather be
more interactive at all times.

What kinds of soft skills, academic skills, and/or specialized training have you needed to use in
your work?
Soft skills needed to work is communication because I need to comfortably communicate with the
customers and get their information.

What have learned about yourself so far by doing this kind of work?
I have learned that I am social enough to be able to talk to strangers.
