SPECIFICATION All Partridge components are designed to comply with the appropriate British Standards Institution Specifications. In general, transformer coils are wound on high grade synthetic resin bonded paper tubing, or moulded bakelite bobbins, and adequately interlayered with paper guaranteed acid free, and protected by laminated flanges which serve also to locate the outleads. Effective precautions are taken to avoid the possibility of turns of any one layer coming into contact with those of adjacent or of other layers. The insulation between the various windings and between windings and screen or core is such as to withstand a minimum test pressure of 2,000 volts r.m.s.. } A copper screen between primary and other windings is provided as a standard feature. This screen, Connesied 10 earth, serves the double purpose of suppressing maius-borne interference and providing an element of safety in case of electrical breakdown. All mains transformers are wound as standard with a primary winding covering 200-250v. 50 c.p.s. GUARANTEE Components are individually tested and are guaranteed to conform to the stated electrical specifications within commercial limits, Each component is guaranteed further for a period of twelve months against defective material or faulty workmanship.
