Words Kills Wars

In the world, words can be applicable in everyday life, in history, and in current events.

Words are what make or break people's career. Jump start a revolution. In the statement. “Words

kill wars” the creator is stating that the end of any kinds of wars are signified by words. Which is

correct based on history and current events. In history many wars were started because of words,

but more were ended by using words instead of violence. For example the famous Treaty of

Versailles marked the end of WW1, countries could not just fight it out to the death. The four

main powers (U.S., Britain, France, and Russia) all had to come together for this treaty and talk

out the correct punishment for Germany. This treaty was the only thing that could stop all the

destruction in WW1. In more recent history, one of the greatest activist used words instead of

violence. That great activist was Martin Luther King Jr., he preached that to kill this war of

prejudice in the 50s, words and passivism needs to be practiced. Only words can kill the great

battle, because time and time again has displayed that to end violence you cannot be more

violent. MLK used this reasoning to make one of the biggest social impacts in America. He

killed that war with his “I had A Dream” speech. Words are a more useful way of ending a war,

because violence isn’t the answer, nor was it ever the answer.
