The Polarization Study
HOW POLARIZED IS LEGEND HS ?
Legend High School is located in Parker, CO. which is considered

one of the most conservative cities in the state. The student body is

52% male and 90% white, which is greatly reflected within the Parker

community.

In order to determine if the polarization was on the same scale as

reported throughout the nation, I conducted a qualitative study with

a group of 55 students and 5 teachers within Legend High School.

Focus It was required to use different age groups

while surveying students in LHS due to the fact

that some of them couldn't even vote yet.

RACE

Did race play into the division within high

school, or the political opinions of its students?

EDUCATION

By surveying those with unique educational

experiences and achievements, the

preconceived notion of those in higher

education "knowing more about politics" was

put to the test.
