Technology is everywhere, it affects how we live, work, teach, and most importantly

learn. Having technology implemented in a lesson plan is crucial, for teachers and the students.

Technology has unlimited opportunities and advantages. Integrating technology into the

classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles. Integrating

technology in education helps students stay engaged because it is different than the traditional

pen and paper. Technology transforms the learning experience and it will affect the way I teach

in the future. I have learned about so many amazing things this semester that I know will affect

the way I teach when I have a class of my own. One of the first things I learned was how to make

comic strips and graphic organizers. ​To implement what I learned in my own classroom, I would

have my students go on StoryBoard That and create a scene that made them happy, sad, or mad.

A comic strip is a great way to let children be creative and have fun. Graphic organizers are also

great for children because it helps organize information using different colors that pop, which

helps children remember and pay attention more. I also learned how to use SMART Notebook. I

will make all of my powerpoints on SMART Notebook because there are so many features that

will help enhance student learning. A colorful presentation helps them remember and learn a lot

more than they would from a piece of paper or a textbook. Lastly, I learned how to make two

different types of formative assessments. I chose to make a Kahoot game and a Google Forms

based on a lesson that I would teach on coins. After teaching a lesson I can create a Kahoot game

based on that lesson. Checking the results afterward will give me an idea of where my students

are and whether or not they understood what I was teaching. Next, I used Google Forms, which

is a great way to have my students take an online quiz or survey using their Chromebooks.
Overall, incorporating technology into lesson plans is a great and fun way for my students to get

a more engaging and fun education.
