Summative Citizenship Reflection

Reflect on your four years of community service. In a thoughtful paragraph, discuss what you
did, what you learned about yourself, the value of community service, future careers or interests,
collaboration, workplace environments, Cloverdale, Sonoma County, and/or how the experience
of community service has impacted you.
My sophomore year I participated in The Every Fifteen Minutes Program. During this
program the school put on a simulated accident to bring awareness to our classmates about the
dangers of driving under the influence. During this volunteer work I learned that bringing
awareness to my community is something that interested me and was something I wanted to
pursue in my future.

Have you registered to vote? Why or why not?

Yes I registered to vote because it is my role as a citizen to vote.

What are some ways that you plan to be an active citizen of this town, state, and/or country in
your adult life?
In my adult life I am going to be an active citizen in my community by becoming a social worker
and giving back.
